The room
Built like the places your parents talked about, for the people who work on this road today.
Good Old Times is a retro-colonial cafe and bar in the iSprout building on Mindspace Road. Globe lamps, oxblood tiles, leather booths, stained glass, a Gothic carved bar and disco balls over a black-and-white checkerboard floor.
The shelves hold the things we grew up with: cassette tapes, a boombox, valve radios, a gramophone, a typewriter, comic books and a telephone with a cord. A mural runs along the mezzanine. There is a terrace with plants for the evening.
It is a room for a slow breakfast, a working lunch, a long evening with friends, or one quiet hour on your own.

Indian and continental, from a breakfast croissant to a late-night kheema. Vegetarian, egg and non-vegetarian dishes are marked on the menu.

If you have just moved here, or you are in town for a week on the Mindspace campus, this is the short version.
- Just walk in. No booking needed for small groups. For eight or more, send a WhatsApp and we will hold a table.
- No table charge, no minimum, no dress code. Come as you are, from the office or the gym.
- Menu and service in English. Dishes are marked vegetarian, egg or non-vegetarian. Spice is adjustable; say "mild" and mean it.
- Breakfast at 8. Useful if your body is still on another time zone.
- Tell your cab "iSprout building, Mindspace Road, beside Deloitte". Uber and Ola both find it. We are about 3 km from the US Consulate at Nanakramguda and from the HITEC City hotels.
- Room for one or forty. 308 seats on two floors, so a quiet corner on a Tuesday and a long table for the team on Friday.
Artists, makers, clubs
We have walls, shelves, a mezzanine and a terrace. They should not be empty.
If you paint, draw, shoot, write, play, collect records, or run a community in Hyderabad, write to us. We host sketch sessions, listening evenings, quiz nights, reading groups, board-game tables and meetups, and we hang work by local artists.
No fee to use the room for a daytime or weekday gathering. Tell us what you want to do and roughly how many people; we will answer the same day.
